due to some reasons I had to take a break in sculpting. but now I'm back)
what is the most difficult thing in making of bjd in your opinion? correct proportions? good working joints? overall symmetry?
NO!
the most difficult thing is finding appropriate sized balls!! >_<
I'm running all over hobby and fittings shops there, but I can't find balls (or beads) for elbow and hip joints. everything I see is too big or too small T_T
but hope springs eternal in the human breast xD

anyway... here is Snaeffel as she is now 8) I'm showing her head as I promised before. Sorry, no detailed pics of her face for now because it is not absolutely finished - I need to do some small mods...
I'm working on upper part of her (head, body and hands) but I swear she has legs xDD they are casted in gypsum and waiting for joints) thanks god I have balls for knees xD

XD I am loving her realistic proportions.
TuT Yes, sadly, the spheres are hard to be exact with. Even if the label says 8mm, it would size up as 7.75mm and such. You'll probably have to cover a bead to make it bigger or sad down a bead to make it smaller.
